Hen Weekend Cards

So, as I mentioned, I have been on a hen weekend and it was so much fun! We all had a good time and all needed a bit of a rest afterwards! I think my days of a whole weekend partying are over! Its Wednesday and I am only just starting to feel human again.

I just wanted to show you the Scavenger Cards I made for the Friday night. Everyone loved them which is nice and yes, we did complete all the tasks = )

I made them by Tri Folding a piece of A4 card, cutting it into three and rounding the corners. I then layered them up by using pink paper and iridescent paper for the inside, pink paper for the bottom flap and for the top flap I used an edge punch, a topper using the iridescent paper again with a small pink gem and ribbon to hold the card shut. A really simple and easy card that turned out to be really effective.

So Little Time!

I am finding it really difficult to find time to craft at the moment! I have a Hen Weekend this weekend and really want to try and make some place name cards for that tonight! I'm one of the bridesmaids so I think that would be really nice. I'm really looking forward to it.
We were babysitting our nephew over the weekend and there is no chance of any crafting while he is around! He is a handful and I'm not used to it = ) I rushed my entry to the Get Funky challenge and don't think I managed the deadline! Next time though!
Hopefully the weekend won't turn out to be too exhausting (who am I trying to kid?) and I will have time to craft soon!

My First Challenge Card!

I have finally completed my first ever challenge card - and I am a bit nervous! It has taken me weeks to take a challenge and even this one turned out to be a bit last minute! I have used papers from Blue Magic on the Funky Hand 'Dreams come True' CD.

I am entering this card into:

1. Funky Hand Challenge - Shaped Cards

2. The Creative Cottage - Happy Father's Day

I have done a 'Dad' shaped Easel card = ) - I hope it qualifies for the challenges!!

I'm still trying to get to grips with how this blog works, but practise makes perfect and I will get there! Really looking forward to getting started with some of the challenges I have my eye on, and as soon as I pull my finger out and start I will of course post a pic of them on here!
